Photos

When I take graduation photos, I’m not just trying to get a nice cap and gown shot. I want to capture the feeling—that mix of excitement, relief, and pride—that comes with finishing a chapter. I look for natural lighting, real smiles, and little moments that feel real. Whether it’s a solo shot showing confidence or a fun group pic with friends and family, I try to make each photo feel personal. I also love using spots on campus or even traveling, so that actually means something to you. So smile!

These jellyfish photos are definitely pictures that I am proud of. I was drawn to the way the blue tones and flowing shapes almost feel like they’re from another place. There’s something calming and a little mysterious about them. Especially the way the light moves through the water, the texture, and the quiet motion. I love capturing moments like this that feel less posed and more like visual poetry. These kinds of shots let me play with mood, color, and emotion in a way that’s a little different from my usual work but still very me.

These 6 photos I have taken while traveling, and they really capture pieces of who I am. Some of them were taken in my second home, Vietnam. This is where I feel closest to my roots, where I am totally connected with my culture. The other is taken in Florida, which I consider my third home and where I have grown so much during my time here in college. Each photo holds a little snapshot of my story, showing who I am becoming.
